Engineering Council of South Africa. After your BEng degree, you must complete 3 years of structured workplace training under a registered mentor, compile a training report, and pass a professional interview. Only registered Professional Engineers (Pr.Eng) may sign off on engineering designs and take legal responsibility for projects.
